The learning experience is an integral part of the Walt Disney World College Program. Centered on the Walt Disney World philosophy of "Performance Excellence," it will cover how Disney has handled issues such as leadership, people management, and managing diversity to make the company an icon for excellence the world over.

The Seminars

The Learning experience consists of seven core seminars plus a speaker's forum in any number of subjects. In addition, there are a variety of independent learning experiences such as a career strategy forum and networking events where participants will have the opportunity to interact with professional Walt Disney World cast members in many different fields.

The seminars are:
Traditions
Discover the Company's history and philosophies while gaining an overview of Disney Values and Quality Standards.
Working with Integrity
Discuss Walt Disney World® Resort standards of ethical and legal conduct and identify supporting resources.
Intro"DUCK"tion Seminar
Create a foundation for success by clarifying participant expectations regarding the Learning Program, as well as an introduction to Disney’s Performance Excellence and Leadership Competencies.
Leadership Excellence
Respect and communicate the heritage and traditions of out Company by modeling the Disney values, embracing diversity and holding ourselves accountable for providing Disney Excellence.
Cast Excellence
Discover ways to develop effective relationships and high-performance teams by being an effective partner and positive influence.
Guest Satisfaction
Understand how we identify our Guests’ needs and deliver Guest satisfaction by focusing on making magical and memorable experiences.
Business Results
Explore the vision and mission of the Walt Disney World® Resort to understand the rationale behind critical business decisions and how to add value to our Company through ownership and individual accountability.
Career Strategies
Identify strategies for you personal career development and celebrate your achievement from you Learning Program.

Levels of Attainment

The are three levels of attainment with the highest being the "Duck"torate degree, the next being the "Mouse"ters Degree and the lowest being a Certificate of Recognition. The three levels of attainment allow the students to determine the level of learning they want to pursue.
